The myAssets app serves as a comprehensive tool for individuals aiming to gain greater control over their financial situations. Functioning as both an integrated asset tracker and retirement planner, its design facilitates the monitoring of various asset classes, enabling users to plan effectively for retirement while also analyzing historical performance.

Asset Overview:

Users can maintain a monthly snapshot of their assets, adding new entries via the "+" symbol located at the top right. The app conveniently reminds users to update their asset information each month, allowing for a seamless transition of data as previous entries are archived. The Analysis tab utilizes archived data to evaluate performance metrics over time, providing insights such as monthly and annual returns on assets.

Retirement Planning:

In addition to displaying current assets and net worth, the Assets tab offers critical figures relevant to retirement planning. Users are able to estimate how long they can sustain themselves on existing assets and how long it may take to deplete them. The slider menu on the top left presents multiple parameters that affect financial independence, including:

• Desired monthly income
• Expected monthly savings
• Expected annual return on assets
• Expected inflation rate
